Both an announcement for a 2005 exhibition at Andrew Roth Gallery in New York and a standalone poster, this print tied back to the photographs in the exhibition as well as the book Reckoning. One panel was printed with the exhibition information, and seven others with original images, one of which was included in the exhibition as a framed photograph.
The poster was created to be as rudimentary as possible: printed on standard, unbleached newsprint stock and folded so that it could be mailed (and was) without an envelope, it was sent out in the awareness that it would arrive to its recipients inevitably changed, marked by time and handling. In the years since, the acidic newsprint used in both the poster and book have visibly yellowed and faded, becoming increasingly friable.
